Bag work classes are an opportunity to work with the punching bags and some other strike pads, to really hone in on striking (kicks & punches). This is an excellent supplement to any martial arts training, and is especially helpful for those martial artists who are interested in sparring, as this class will improve their striking technique, speed, and precision.
Sparring is Martial Arts in action! It is a fantastic way to hone your skills in a safe, controlled environment. In sparring, two martial artists challenge one another in simulated combat, to see who can score the most points. Sparring is the “sport” side of martial arts, and can be done in a competition setting, but is also just a great opportunity to improve your strikes in an active setting.
