ODP (Ontario Development Program) Competitve Gymnastics Team
This invitation-only class is for our more experienced Senior Kinder Advanced Gymnastics athletes looking for a greater challenge. ODP is designed to prepare our youngest team members for competition, and set the foundation for successful progress through the sport of gymnastics. Participants will train to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and agility, as well as learn key acrobatic skills in the hopes of competing in events designed to test these fundamentals.
This is a structured, coach-led class; previous gymnastics experience is required.
This program focuses on preparation to compete at the ODP level.
Participants must be accepted through a competitive tryout. The competitive program is a year-long commitment.
The only cost for a class is the listed monthly subscription fee.
The other costs for members include the competition fees as well as things such as costumes or competitive gear.
Members can select manual or automatic payments for the on-going monthly billing and this can be changed at any time.
Manual Payment Method: Members receive a reminder email the day an invoice is created. It includes a Pay for this order link to go directly to our checkout page. Payment can then be made by e-transfer (to [email protected]), in-person at EPIC (cash, debit, or credit card), or online (by credit card). We cannot accept payments over the phone.
Automatic Payment Method: Members receive a reminder email when their credit card is charged on the 1st day of the month.
The monthly subscriptions are synchronized to the start of each new month. The invoice for the subscription is automatically created on the 25th or later during the preceding month and members will find it on the My Account page under Orders.
When a participant is enrolled in the competitive program, EPIC registers them with Gymnastics Ontario.
The subscription fee must be paid in full at the beginning of each month. If unpaid, the subscription state changes from ‘Active’ to ‘Overdue’ and then after 10 days changes to ‘Suspended’. If a subscription remains ‘Suspended’ by the 15th of the current month – the subscription state automatically switches to ‘Cancelled’.
As we hope you already know – we care about our competitive team members. If there are extenuating circumstances regarding a late subscription payment please speak to us, to review the situation, well before the 15th of the month to avoid cancellation.
If EPIC intentionally cancels a class (for example, a coach is sick or unavailable) then a credit will be given and subtracted from the next month’s subscription cost. Â
If a class is missed because it falls on a regular holiday no credit is given. All holidays have already been factored into the overall monthly subscription price for a given day of the week (that is why rates vary for different class times).
If a class is cancelled for reasons beyond EPIC’s control (for example, things such as bad weather or power failures) then no credit will be given. Unfortunately, due to strict student/teacher ratios, in most cases we cannot provide makeup classes.
